Itinerary

DAY 1:

Upon your arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport with a sign on which your name is written and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 2:

Istanbul Ottoman & Byzantium Relics & Grand Bazaar Tour 

 You will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day tour.

Highlights of tour: Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern,Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar You will visit Hagia Sophia museum which was the largest church of the world during the Roman Empire period in the 6th century.

Later you go to Underground Cistern, locally known as Yerebatan Sarayi (meaning Sunken Palace) or Yerebatan Sarnici (Basilica Cistern), this underground water cistern was the major water reservoir of Constantinople. The water was transported from the Belgrade Forest by the immense Byzantine aqueducts.

Then, your guide will take you to the Blue Mosque which is aunique mosque in Turkey with six minarets. Near Blue Mosque, you will see the ancient Roman hippodrome where chariot races took place in the 3rd centuryin Roman Empire.

Today, the last stop is the most famous and the largest covered bazaar in Turkey with 4000 shops, known as the Grand Bazaar.

Overnight in Istanbul. (Breakfast) After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

DAY 3:

You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time to fly to Antalya. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Antalya. (Breakfast)

DAY 4:

Antalya Old City & Duden Waterfall Tour :

After breakfast, you will visit Antalya old City (Kaleiçi) Marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian’s Gate, Broken Minaret, Hidirlik Tower. Kaleici is a small historic part of Antalya, which is also known as the Old City of Antalya. It was once a modern Roman town, then it became a Byzantine town, then a Seljuk town, and finally an Ottoman town.

The Hadrian’s Gate (or Hadrianus Gate or The Three Gates) is a triumphal archwhich was built in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Antalya’s broken wonder is the Broken Minaret of the Korkut Mosque, which itself was built originally as a Roman temple in the 2 nd century, and thus did not have a minaret at all. Hıdırlık Tower is a landmark tower of tawny stone in Antalya, Turkey, where Kaleiçi meets Karaalioglu Park. It is believed to be built in Hellenistic era on a square plan and later turned into a circular tower in the 2 nd century and it was eitherused as a fortification or a lighthouse in the past.

Later on, you will be driven to Duden waterfalls. All the streams of the region aim at finding their way into the Mediterranean and they pour down the slopes of the Taurus, sometimes overland sometimes underground reaching their destination, creating lovely waterfalls, of which there are more than twenty.

DAY 5:

You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time to fly to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight in Cappadocia. (Breakfast)

DAY 6

Cappadocia Tour :

Today you can join an OPTIONAL BALLOON tour. Please contact your agent for details. After breakfast, you will depart to Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. You will drive to Love Valley to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles.

Then, you will go to the city of Avanos. In the afternoon, you will visit another beautiful open-air museum where you can see the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements that date back to hundreds of years ago.

Later, you will visit the natural castles at Uchisar. You will later visit the Red Valley and explore the famous rock- cut churches. Then you will visit Çavuşin village. This village is famous for the Christian Clergymen’s houses and churches.

After lunch, youwill be driven to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon you will visit the Underground City where the early Christians lived in fear and faith. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight in Cappadocia. (Breakfast)

DAY 7

Cappadocia to Istanbul :

 You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time to fly to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. (Breakfast)

DAY 8

Bosphorus Cruise & Spice Market Tour :

You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time to fly to Istanbul. In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up and you will see the best part of the city known asthe Bosphorus which is located between Europe and Asia Continents.

You will see Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Ortaköy, Bosphorus Bridge, and houses and mansions near theseaside from the boat.

Then you will go to Spice Market for shopping. It has been in use as one of the world’s largest spice bazaars since 1665. It gains its Turkish name, Mısır Çarşısı (Egyptian Market), from the fact that it once received incomefrom taxes collected from Egypt.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (Breakfast)

DAY 9

Istanbul Departure :

 According to the flight time, you will be picked up from hotel and transferred to the airport. Thank you for choosing us. Go with a smile… (Breakfast)
